The building process is one of the exciting stages of building. We are in communication with you all the way and advise you on the progress of your home at each stage of construction.
Our staff put together a presentation folder for you, (which you receive with the hand over of keys) with photos of the different stages, a little something to keep as a memory of your new home.
Step 1 - Select your house design
Select from our collection of investment style homes and plans. Our staff are available at any time to answer any questions you may have regarding any of these house designs.
Step 2 - Preliminary Estimate
An initial deposit is required and is paid to obtain a soil test and contour survey:
The soil test is completed (to Australian standards by an independent certified engineer) to ascertain if any special foundations are required. A contour survey (by a licensed surveyor ) is required to determine the extend of earthworks, required of the block is not level.
This information is required to provide to provide a tender letter including fixed price site costs. All monies paid for this work are deducted from the contracted price.
Step 3 - Contract Signing
After the acceptance of the final tender, building contracts and plans can then be
Prepared and executed.
One of our representatives will go through the contents of these documents and ensure that you are in full understanding of the contents and procedures.
Step 4 - Color Selections
Select from one of our coordinated color schemes put together by our interior designers.
There is a great range to select from and our staff are available if you require any advice through the process.
Step 5 - Construction of Your Home
Our customer liason officer will keep you up to date and in touch with the progress of your home through to completion.
A photo diary will also be created for you capturing each of the stages of your new home.
Step 6 - The handover process
Once your home is completed you will be invited to walk through and ensure the home meets with your approval.
For your future reference a handover kit containing significant information about your home will be given to you.
Step 7 - Warranty Follow up
We allow 6 months for you to experience and enjoy your home so that any issues that you may have can be raised with us for consideration and rectification.
After this period the builder will meet with you personally to ensure that your home meets the necessary and required standards.
